The Quarie, Hammond Park

The Quarie was one of the restaurants on my AHAWA list so when I was road tripping to Kwinana to see a local production of 'Annie', we popped in for a quick dinner beforehand.
As winner of Venue Manager award, The Quarie counted as venue 8 of 31. I have six months to go so really need to get a wriggle on if I plan to complete* this list.

On the evening we visited the restaurant was fully booked so we sat in the bistro area. The menu is the same in the bistro as in the restaurant, however there's no table service for ordering.

We both ordered the Thai Beef Salad ($23.50). The salad was hearty with plump strips of beef, crispy noodles, cucumber, capsicum, cashews, carrot and assorted lettuce. At $23.50 it wasn't cheap but the generous portion left me full and satisfied.

We went on a Saturday night and it was busy. Not "line up at the door busy" but a "constant stream of people busy". I'd suggest booking if you're visiting the restaurant. It seems to be a good family friendly option and decent local for casual catchups with friends.
